Brazilian coach Romario, Honduran coach Marbyn and coaches Kipgen, from Manipur, goalpeeper trainer Ramu and assistant coach Suraj, both from Kolkata spent two weeks in Agartala, from 15-27 May 2017, training 67 highly motivated and excited boys from Tripura. It was a memorable time for all those who took part in this special football coaching event.
The trainings were at times tough. But then, real football is tough! Physical, mental preparation and team play were emphasized, besides lots of orientations about sports and life in what we call “skills for life”.
In the end, the two weeks practice went by very quickly. We are left with found memories of the lovely days we spent in Tripura. We hope to be back in a near future for more events connected to the “Beautiful Game”!
